August 2011 Birchbox

I'm super freaked out that we're in August right now. My room is a huge disaster zone with hangers and clothes on the ground. I have 21 more days till I have to be down at college and will be heading to the west coast on the 23rd of August. Little time to do everything has caused me to be way stressed out >.<

I may have mentioned to a thread on tPF that I would post my August birchbox which I got with no notice this month. These boxes have been increasingly disappointing ever since my first box in June (which came with an awesome Laura Geller blush!) 

So here is my reveal: 

I ended up with:

• blinc eyeliner in Black
• Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask
• Pangea Organics Cleanser
• WEI treatment eye pads
• and a black twistband hair tie

I guess it's an OK box. I would have preferred more make-up rather than skincare because I'm one of those people with fear of breakouts. The eyeliner stays pretty well so I really did like that. I'm definitely going to try the cleanser eventually and I'm not really sure what to do with the hair tie because my hair is super fine. The eye pads and hair mask might just end up being samples for other people.

Chipping Nails and Holographic Awesomeness

I got two awesome polishes the last two days and let me tell you... they are sheer holographic amazingness! 

I bought Dior Tuxedo and Poison Bleu last month and just got Gosh Holographic (!!!) and China Glaze Octa Gone Wild. 

I've had Chanel Graphite on my nails for the last day and it's an amazing color. But chipping is horrible on this polish. 

So when I got Octa Gone Wild today from a swap I just repainted my nails. Ah-mazing! Love the holographic glitter...
